originally, i thought kampung life was slow, boring & dead, i may look like a blur & clueless kampung girl, but to imagine myself to enjoy kampung life was quite impossible for me. Went to Sabah before to do com service with fellow botaks from NP, & was shocked to experience how slow time actually passes. Came to love kampung life, when i went to Msia last wkend.
A short few days staying in a kampung is a great time for most ppl to do reflecting, cos time really passes by slowly, as compared to the fast paced life in Spore.
last wkend, wanted to have a bday party, in the end, went to Pontian to visit kc & his family. wanted to come back early on sunday morning, but guess what, there was a lot of good food to eat there n places that we haven't finished shopping yet, so in the end, we only reached s'pore on sunday at 9pm. i made my family wait for me for 2 hours, before they could celebrate my bday. after i explained the whole 'squeezing onto the bus back to sg' tramatising ordeal & after i presented my fathers' day mug to my papa, my papa's anger completely vanished, n he laughed at me for being so sweet yet silly.
what i loved about Pontian is it's just a short 2 hrs drive from JB, n there is so much gd food, just take a look at these pics n you'll see....

the short 2 days trip was about eating & eating a lot, we never stopped eating. looking at these pics, i'm already starting to miss the food there.

going for this short 2 days trip made me realise 1 thing very impt, i can only go for trips with ppl who eat! then we can feast together. if not, i'll feel miserable without munching tons of food, no matter how action-packed the trip is.
