awaiting paradise..

ytd i went with rach for MP dialogue session in NP...it left me with some thoughts, an MP was saying "if you're really passionate about something, you will naturally do something about it (an action: like speaking up for what you believe in, or something more tangible like joining a task force)..but it's sad that most of us Singaporeans r too comfortable in our own comfort zone, that we don't feel the need to speak up or act on things we r not happy about."

i was pondering a lot about that statement on my way home..

yah maybe i am too comfortable where i am, that i've been taught to think "aiyah none of my business lah, don't care", even if i see an eldery walking across e road n she needs my help

or maybe i haven't been challenged or really tested for what i truly value in life, that's why i live everyday comfortable that as long as there's food n a comfortable bed, yay good enough, y care for the other things in life?
selfish of me to not regard ppl in this world who truly need someone to be their voice, i want to be a voice to those who can't speak for themselves, you know change the world in the smallest way, but i guess i've been so caught up in my own world to fail to realise that when i first finished my O-levels, i used to have big big dreams about changing the world, now it's all been buried in the past.
