haha my 1st updated post..

was reading e front article on today this morning, was thinking...how come Singapore is such a strict country?

during e s'pore 2006 training 2 weeks ago, we were told that e police will be allowing max 120 protestors, then i thought to myself, "cool! this is my chance to see something i've never seen in my entire life...an actual protest!"
ppl who really believe in the cause that they stand for, so much so that they're willing to stand up hours for the cause that they believe in with such passion & convictions. in Singapore, we don't even get to see protests, cos if you got greviances/complains, "do it through the right way"
i'm not saying protesting is good or what lah, but i'm amazed at how ppl are so convicted to do something, n that sure conviction is something i properly never had before..

anyway back to my point about Singapore..
i was reading from the article about the officials limiting ppl coming in, for security reasons n stuff, then it occured to me that if our govt wasn't strict, we probably won't even have this safe country to live in..don't take for granted this safety that we've been blessed with
